Duerer Sun Shade Sail Canopy for Patio, Garden, Backyard

The Duerer sun shade sail is made of 100% 185gsm new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material, not recycled material. This new PE material has no pungent odor and exhibits improved durability, with higher strength to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight. This minimizes the risk of fading, embrittlement, or degradation over time, giving the sail a longer lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.

The breathable fabric of the sun shade sail allows cool breezes to pass through, creating a comfortable and well-ventilated space. It is not waterproof, which means rainwater can pass through, preventing the accumulation of water. Excessive water accumulation on the shade sail can put stress on the fabric and support structure, causing potential damage or failure. It is recommended to remove the awning during storms and typhoons.

The sun shade sail provides a 90% shading rate and protects against up to 95% of harmful UV rays. This makes it an ideal sun shade canopy solution for patios, lawns, gardens, backyards, ponds, pools, doorways, terraces, balconies, carports, BBQ areas, or any other outdoor space. You can enjoy outdoor activities while staying safe from sunburn and skin damage.

The edges of the sun shade sail are reinforced with a full strip of webbing sewn inside the edge stitching, and 3 sewing threads increase the tear resistance, reducing the risk of tearing or fraying in areas prone to stress or tension. The D-rings at the 4 corners are made of 304 stainless steel, which is thicker than ordinary D-rings and more solidly installed.

The package includes one 20 x 12ft Sand rectangle sunshade sail and 4 durable ropes (2m/6.56ft). Before installation, measure and clean the area where the sun sail shades are to be placed. Allow 1-2ft of clearance between the anchor point and the sail shade canopy for mounting hardware, ropes, or hooks. The Duerer sun shades have curved sides to increase tensile strength and prevent drooping.
